  1. These are the readings I got on Monday. Alkalinity - 25.0ppm PH Value - 7.6 Cyanuric Acid - 3.0ppm Free Chlorine - 12.0ppm Combined Chlorine - 2.3ppm Calcium Hardness - 50 ppm Saturation Index - -1.2 I am going to try to get another sample today.
  2. I need help. The girls on our swim team are experiencing rashes and body hair loss, swim suits that will usually last 6 months to a year are falling apart within a month. One of the girls does not use a swim cap during practice and has lost most of her hair. I personally had the water tested and the ph was normal, the alkalinity was 25, the free chlorine was 12.0, and the combined chlorine was 14.3. The school is informing parents that the chemical levels are at a normal level. I have a pool of my own and have never had any of these problems before. What chemical levels can cause these reactions?
