IL pool

Added info that there was a "dead short" in the pump itself... took pump in, waiting for pool place to look at it. It has been suggested that it is the capacitor. Does this sound right since it is only just about 1 year old?!

Hey All- Got another one for you... Our Hayward Super Pump 1.5HP after 1 year of no troubles started tripping the circuit breaker 2 days ago. If we reset the circuit and then put the pump "on" it immediately blows... Any suggestions for us to check before our pool gets too green over this weekend! Our pool place will not even open until Monday and it is HOT! Got my fingers crossed we can get it going?!

Our salt water pool releases milky water from the jets when the chlorinator is on and once it is off it clears to perfect within minutes? All water levels are good when tested at store several times! BTW I have Hayward sand filter and Hayward Aqua Cell chlorinator. This milky water never "settles" it disperses in the entire pool over several minutes then water returns to crystal clear after chlorinator goes off. Our pool guy is scratching his head!
