  1. my question is do i have to upgrade to a larger pump or is the a hydraulic formula to for the added pipe length to the roof ?
  2. well i would go with the Hayward hands down! as far as the walls just brush it twice a week you should be good .
  3. ok if the spa spills into the pool you need to find the spa suction and turn it off. 2nd if the spa is elevated a bit higher then the pool and usually drains to the spa to the same level as the pool then that is a bad check valve (the little round clear top thingy) . hope i helped ya .
  4. ya i know about only using skimmer tabs in the basket i just thought i would ask to see what other guys thought about floater . im not a big fan they dont last in the sun and the little tabs always break off . thanks for the thought. to your last question i fill the pool up with fresh water and back wash only with de or sand filters the cartage your screwed unless you have an area lower then the pool and use the vacuum hose to syphin it off.
  5. ok i have a few pool were the owner has floating chlorinaters . The chlorine is 1.0 when i get there so i load it with chlorine . my point is isn't that a insufficient way to chlorinate a pool ? they are large pools average about 30,000 gal. I suggested a inline chlorinater . any feed back would be helpful. oh ya im in phoenix lol.
