I do have a spa that has a separate 1 HP whisper flow when spa is turned on, otherwise the main pump circulates the spa. My solar is on a 2 story house, so in the summer would the vspump have to run at full speed? Have you guys had any experience with CO2 for ph control? Thanks again for your help!

I know I'm limited with only 11/2 on return and suction, I have an 18000 gal 35 year ond pool, we replastered it 20 years ago, at that time I installed a jandy ji 8000 control system and installed all PVC except for the underground copper. I have a 11/2 hp whisper flow pump and installed solar last summer. I have decided to install a Hayward pro logic ps-8to replace the jandy control, also I,m going to install the turbo ic 15 swg with the sense and despinse with co2 for ph control. I would like to install a variable speed pump also, but I wonder if the 11/2 pipe limitation will make this all feasible? I'm using a navigator for cleaning. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
