  1. We had a San Juan pool put in in 2008. Our installer was excellent! We were swimming in about eight days! Artistic Pools, Cinnaminson, NJ, South Jersey. We live in Mount Olive. I did find their electritian a bit lazy, but qualified and their work passed all inspections. Contact Mark Peditto at 609-352-7069 and check their website.
  2. I have a fiberglass pool. I'll set the PH at 7.2 I wanted chlorine, my wife wanted CL free. She wins all battles. But, the CL free system is working quite well. Thanks again
  3. PH is 7.5 I will lower to 7.0 I'll also lower copper to .6 Thank you very much
  4. Ok, here's the entire situation, maybe you can help. I use a CL free system. I have copper and titanium plates within the PVC pipes connected to low voltage electricity. The copper is maintained at .7 ppm. When I opened the pool it was at .5 The green color is light green. I hope it's the pot mono per sul and it will disipate when the water gets warmer, it's now at 52 degrees. Also, I added 14 ounces of Algae 60 a week ago; this did not affect the green color. Any thoughts? Thanks
  5. Last October I closed the pool and added either 5 or 10 times the amount of pot monopersulfate that I should have. Was told not to worry it would dissapate. So I open the pool and it has a nice light green color to it. I think it's the overdose effect. Temp of the water is 54, so I doubt it's algae. Any thoughts ? Thank you
  6. BTW, As Gavin says, stick with a Cl pool it's the easiest. I agree. But I have a wife and she wins all arguments.
  7. I've had the CLfree system (Arizona) for two full seasons. Copper and Titanium plates hooked up to low volt electricity. Automatic PH adjustmnet with CO2 gas. Works as advertised. I add a clarifier and algecide weekly and test the water weekly for PH tot alkalinity and copper (should be .7ppm). I have a fiberglass pool and developed a stain when I first installed the CLfree. Problem, I think (still working on it) was that I had the CL free operating 24 hours a day for a week until I was told that ten hours a day was sufficient. Bottom line, the water is like a fresh water pool. Pulled out 20 salamanders one day and tree frogs lays eggs in it.
