  1. Yes - Definitely meant to say "OFF" the board. First disable the breaker/power to tub, pop the fuse out of the board and check it with a continuity tester. Wish I had known this a few weeks ago, but hopefully they next person with this issue will find this post and save themselves some hassles.
  2. Thanks all for the help and advice. I did aquire a digital voltmeter with a continuity tester and checked of the board. The primary bus fuse was indeed bad, and after purchasing a new one for a few bucks at a local hardware store, I'm back in business. If anyone has a similar issue in the future I definitely recommend properly checking the bus fuses first by removing them from the board and testing for continuity.
  3. Hi, Are there any other details I could provide that would be helpful? I feel like something must have happened during the course of removing/installing the pump to cause this. It seems like awfully bad luck that the top side control would die just when I had my pump rebuilt. I've already put over $500 into this spa since moving in 6 months ago, and would love to find a 'cheap' solution to this issue. Thanks, Tom
  4. I just finished replacing the pump in my 1999 2 person sundance spa. To my chagrin when I switched on the breaker after reinstalling the pump, my control panel was dead. No lights of any kind, and the buttons had no effect. The spa is equipped with a Sentry 750 control panel Is there anything obvious I could have done during the process of removing/installing the pump that could have caused this? I checked the cable between the circuit board and control panel and it seemed snugly clipped in. The ground indicator light is also on, so the board is getting power from the breaker. Also, is there a general troubleshooting flow I should follow to determine where the failure point is? I have a volt meter, but am not sure what steps to try to determine the issue. Thanks, Tom
