So I finally got everything hooked up and nothing was leaking and I turned my pump on and the pressure guage on the filter shot up and is at maximum load and nothing is happening in the pool, no water is shooting out of the jet filtering or anything. So I tried to backwash the filter for about 5 minutes and then retried the filter and once again the pressure is at maximum capacity. I took apart the entire filter and everything, tried started the filter and backwashing the filter with the valve open and everything but no matter what I do I can't get the pressure down. If anyone has any advice for me please let me know. Thanks,

HI, This is my second time opening my pool up so I am a little new at this. This year when I was trying to open it, I did everything I did last year and it seemed to work but then I realized that the pump was trying to pump but water wasn't getting into it, I looked at my Pool Heater, which I did not use last year, and it was shooting water out of an open line, which is located right above where it looks like I needed to turn the pilot light on. I never used the heater last year and never even attempted to turn it on. I had the pool professionally closed last year, is there any possibility that they disconnected the heater is some way or do I have to light the pilot light in the heater? Any anwsers would be great. Thanks
