  1. Nordic makes a great value tub. These can be had for 2-5 grand and seem to hold up for longer than a bunch of other so-called value brands. Let's see, plastic shell and plywood bottom...How could this be even close to costing 2 grand let alone 5 grand! I wonder why every Nordic dealer either carries the product as their low end line, and have a high end line, or is really a pool dealer with a few Nordics on the floor. I have yet to see any spa dealer just carry Nordic and only Nordic! They don't because it's a price point low end spa when the customer can't afford a real spa, or they just don't understand the difference between acrylic shell and plastic bottom vs plastic shell and wood bottom! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
  2. I agree regarding service however, where I'm from I seen a number of Coast dealers come ago, either out of business or no longer stock Coast! Most spa manufacturers have their phone number on website and literature therefore making it easier to contact them. I wonder why Coast is the only one to keep their number off website and literature...hmmm Personally, I'd feel more confident with a US manufacturers warranty, then one from another country with no location in the US. But hey, A spa is not a big investment were I need to be concerned...JOKING!
  3. Made in Canada with Canadian Warranty Recent heater recall No phone number given anywhere for tech support or customer service, only e-mail address! Personally, I would never do business with a company located outside the US, and with no locations in US, and more importantly a company that I could only communicate with through e-mail and does not provide phone number...very suspicious!
  4. Reading through the warranty and it states "This warranty starts from date of manufacture..." Forgive me, but does this warranty really start from the day the spa is made, and mean if someone were to purchase a brand new 2009 model, they would loose a year in the manufacturers warranty? If so, is this common or a Cal Spas thing? When I called Cal Spas customer service they assured me the warranty started on the delivery date....hmm so why isn't that stated in the warranty... Does anyone know the real story of why Watson's Changed their name to Family Leisure at some locations? One of their stores is for sale, and seriously delinquent in their property taxes....Any insight would be appreciated.
