  1. Any suggestions anyone?? Also, this morning I checked the control panel and it was flashing between the 88* temperature and the word "FLO." Is there a resource somewhere I can look at maybe a maintenance manual for this thing and check this "error" code? Thanks! M
  2. UPDATE... I decided to do a reset on power just on kicks and giggles!! I went back to the control panel and immediately it was back the way I left it...stuck at 88*F with no heater icon. (still set at 101*F.) I then did what most of us would do when all else fails... I just kicked it!! Well, the panel anyway. I noticed the heating icon turn on, then it went off. It came on again and it seems it does this automatically (without the need for kicking it!!), staying on longer one time than other times. There's also the "clicking" sound of the relay switching it on and off. Could this be the temp sensing unit maybe going out? I don't know...just a thought since the above was found. Thanks again ahead of time for the time and help! M
  3. I have a 2003 (bought in Q4 2003, so it may be a 2004 model) Sundance Altamar that has never had any issues until about 1.5 years ago when it was way dirty and I shut it down for that time period. Before I shut it down, I noticed and tracked for a few days, the temperature was hovering and wouldn't go above 75* F. I just cleaned and filled it last Weds and within a couple days it heated to 101*F. It stayed at this temp throughout the weekend and last night (Mon) when I went to get in, it was at 96*. Tonight it is at 88*. Back when I shut it down I thought the Heating Unit was toast or something plus the cover was super soaked and mildewed...all of which cost a bunch, hence the reason it took so long to refill and use it! But after it heated to 101 upon refill, I figured all was ok and that maybe it was because the thing was cycling green water before. Now that it's falling in Temp, I'm a little concerned. I found a place that has these heaters for just above $200, and it also has the Temp Sensing Unit, etc. I obviously would not like to have to go with the more expensive part if possible, but what is everyone's experience here and what would you suggest as my gameplan in checking for the root of the prob? To check the heater, sensing unit, or other parts, will it need to be drained? Also, are there any specs available somewhere that I can do some diagnostics on my own? I have an electrical background and know enough to stay out of trouble!! Anyway, any help is appreciated. And as soon as possible, if you can!! Thanks, M
