I have had my crown xl for about 4 years now and its running great. The service from nordic and the people are great too. We moved twice since we got it and i have rolled it on the lawn(twice)to move it with no problems. They did have to replace the heater twice(defective) and the third one was the charm. I would get another one when the time comes. 104 Degrees Halfshell Would you mind telling me what you paid?? Before taxes?? 104 Degrees A good dealer is absolutely essential... we just moved to SC and inherited a Nordic Hot tub (Rendezvous II) and after we filled it and turned it on it leaked like a sieve... couldn't get anyone out to fix it... including the local Nordic dealer!! so a good dealer is essential... I finally cut my hot tub up for lack of anyone to fix it (I tried to find the leak/cracks) and worked 3 straight days looking) finally had a non-Nordic dealer from Spartanburg come out (1 hr and $125 later) and he told me he'd have to have $2000+ to fix it... so you are lucky to have a good dealer!!

Stay away from Nordic... lousy reliability... had to cut mine up and it was only 6 years old... wanted $2000+ to fix it... Whatever hot tub you choose, think about the insulation.. you won't be able to find a leak/cracked pipe with foam covering all the pipes/back of the jets. AND your tub will leak!! Make sure you have "easily removable" insulation... ... also, I do not recommend putting a deck around the Hot tub, while a deck looks good, when you get someone to come out and service it (leaks, pumps, whatever) they will either charge you extra (like $400-600) or say they don't have time... Other than that.. good luck!
