  1. I think like any new feature, salesman have a tendency to over sell it's capabilities. That being said the system is working very well in thousands of spas and we have worked through some of the initial issues. Some of the issues we are seeing, like this one, have many other water chemistry factors involved that are impacting the results of the system. I am confident that it is the best system for a spa. Kind regards, James As an Owner of a 16 month old Arctic Spa, Tundra with an updated Onzen system, I must comment that the system does work. Sure the initial design had problems BUT Arctic Spas looked after it and corrected/ upgraded the system. I could not be happier. Thank you James and Arctic Spa of Ottawa. When purchasing anything today, the after sales service is key to the satisfaction and enjoyment of the purchased product. That is why word of mouth recommendations is best when considering purchases because the person making the recommendation has experienced the hidden after sales service which CANNOT be tested when looking in a showroom. I highly recommend Arctic Spa and the Onzen system in the Ottawa Ont. region.
  2. Purchased my Arctic Spa Tundra in Oct 2008. Only problem we found was the same as Ottawa Mike with the Onzen system. My dealer has upgraded and resolved this issue. Yes the internet may be filled with complaints but the internet has the tendency to make the spineless comfortable with their complaining..... The best manufacture/supplier is the one that will respond to your questions and concerns. Resolving your issues and getting you up and going asap. Good old customer service! Arctic Spa has proven that point and the fact there is a company rep here on this board responding to questions should help anyone make the decision to purchase an Arctic Spa hot tub. 2 thumbs up Arctic Spa
  3. The number of jets is over rated. After 15 months with our Arctic spa Tundra, we find the most enjoyment with lights and pumps turned off- simply enjoying the tranquility of a star lit nightsky....... Merry Christmas everyone
  4. Interesting thread.... about 1 yr ago we purchased a Tundra from Ottawa location at Merivale Road. Great experience during the purchase process. Installation went along as planned until they installed the cover on the wrong side. No problem - they moved it to the correct position with a smile before they finished. We are an hour out of the city and since I am "hands on" I would be able to make adjustments as required to reduce service calls and trips for the service department. First month found GFI tripping on occasion- discovered condensation dripping onto the cord end and causing the problem. So I relocated the device to stop the ground fault. Worked flawless ever since. Tub came with "Ozen" system and I would continually clean the plates to remove the build up. Have recently read about this problem so called monday Nov. 23rd for advice. Mike was not in so CSR answered call and suggested they visit to upgrade the system. Would not and could not give me a date or time, just left it as they would show up someday, but they would call me to let me know when they were on their way. Asked if they could deliver supplies when they come out? "Not likely as the techs do not come into the office before going to calls". Ouch! a warranty call with the opportunity to sell chemicals with extra filters and they turned it down...??..... Still waiting for the techs to show up... still waiting for the call they are on the way......it is now friday nite... guess I will go out and soak with a ice cold beer....
