  1. I called and spoke to someone named Shane. He didn't want to help me. He told me I needed to contact the dealer for service, which is what I'm trying to avoide doing. Any other help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
  2. Thanks for the tips. I'll tear the front off again tomorrow (assuming we have some nice weather!) and see if I can't find the other sensor. I'll aslo give the dealer a call and see if they can give me some tips, but they've been pretty hands off since I bought it from them.
  3. Greetings: I've got a 2003 Cal Spa that has been treating me well. I recently started to receive a flashing OH on the display which means the spa is overheating. The first thing I did was to remove the filter and let it run. After about 4 hours the spa finally overheated. I replaced the filter reset the display. I've found that setting it to economy mode at 102f will let it run for a few days before it overheats. Last night the spa went into OH mode. I couldn't reset it and it was very, very hot. When I was finally able to reset it (hours later!), the temperature showed it was 107 degrees. If I understand it correctly, there appears to be two temperature sensors somewhere in the spa. It has a high limit sensor as well as a temperature sensor. I have a feeling that the high limit is working fine (I believe it shuts the spa down at 110f which it appears to be doing). I believe there is a problem with the other temperature sensor. I'd like to diagnose and replace, but I'm not sure of a) where it's at and what the proper voltage should be. I've found a cable connecting the heating assmbly to the control board. It is a thin gray cable that has a lable on it that reads the following: Sensor Assy 96" (3/8) 31" (3/4) 320298***200308260538 30337 Right I have a feeling that this is the sensor I'm looking for but I'm looking for a little confirmation as well as info on how to remove it. Do I just pull it from the slit that it is in? It appears to be inserted into a "pocket" that is wrapped with insulation. Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks! -joe
