  4. Can this pump motor be wired to run on 220V ??
  5. Finally got the hot tub going ( no heater yet) and it was kinda on the cool side but alright besides one pump going out and no heater...i am about to order a pump though but i do have a question... how do i know my working pump ( bought 2 weeks ago) is operating on "high" speed I'm guessing 2 speed is a low and high speed, when my 1.5 hp pump is running it doesnt seem like it is on high....it is temporarly hooked up to a 110 plug where you can plug it in just like an appliance, it is Gfci protected so no worries there... If it does turn out the only working pump is on high then i might go up to a 3hp pump on the one that went out because 1.5 just aint cutting it and it works the main jets also in the process of ordering a controller, can my 110 pump itself be converted to 220 ?? i how i will have to upgrade the electrical and thats no problem
  6. Flush and decontaminate the tub and then fill it and balance the water , then see if you like the tub the way it is, if you dont, get another one, but if its already there, it works, and its hooked up then that would be a big plus for me... i wouldnt remove the jets unless they are broken, if you do in my opinion your asking for a leak or to break something, just do a really good decontamination and bleach everything and buy new filters and you will be good enough to find out if you like this tub or if you want another... but keep in mind if you get a new one you will have to make sure it is the same size or just a little bit bigger so it will fit the existing hole for the current tub..( you could do a smaller tub but you would have to frame it in and it could be an eye sore
  7. Alright, i finally got my (new to me) hot tub on the porch, cleaned the shell and bleached it and filled it and let it run and then emptied it out, now i refilled it and i read somewhere i need to shock the water with bleach ?? how much do i use ?? i believe the tub is around 400 gallons, i have a floater floating in it with bromine in it...i have them pumps to where i can plug them in (gfci) until i can get a controller for it...thanks for any help
  8. When you said ACC does it stand for APPLIED COMPUTER CONTROLS ?? if so what is there not to like about them ?? because i was looking at their products...here are the Voltages for my pumps and stuff, i believe i will need a 240V controller is this right ?? pump 1 is 115 volt 2 speed pump 2 is 115 volt 2 speed blower is 120 volt heater is 240 Volt
  9. I got a used hot tub today with the 2 pumps (one new and one old) and it came with a brand new blower, but no controller, it has some of the old controls (top side) looks like the push button style (with the air hoses cut loose) , can i just buy a digital controller and install and do away with the old push buttons ??
