I have an older sundance 605 series. The unit has had this small issue for a while where you can't run the blower and the jets at the same time or it trips the GFI. Anyway, we always just run one or the other. The timer on it also went south, so I had to fix that as well. We had a pool party and the units jets ran for several hours straight, and at the end of the party a big boom and sparks came out of the area where the control panel, etc is. I gave it a look over and the fuse on the circuit board is okay, but there are some burnt wires on the relay where the 240 wiring hooks up. Seeing as this is an older tub would an entire upgrade spa pack be okay? And if so which one do I need. I've looked all over the net and now I'm confused on which one to purchase. This could be something as simple as a relay replacement, but what's going to go next??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
