  1. UPDATE: Found the pump that was tripping the breaker. Pulled of the start and run capacitors and they were both bad. Found replacements locally and the spa is as good as new. All for only $26! Cheap fix in my opinion!
  2. My neighbor an I opened up the spa and found that the two capacitors on one of the pumps are bad. One was blown up. So I am going to replace them. But as we were in there we saw that there was a layer of water in the bottom of the casing of the spa. The spa is on a concrete foundation and does not leak. (no loss of water level) Is it common for this to occur and will is cause a capacitor to blow up? Tomorrow morning I will vaccum out the water to see if it builds agai, but for now any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  3. About a year ago my spa began tripping at the breaker near the spa itself. It did it so often (about once a week) I kind of neglected it and now it trips within a day. Assumably when the filter cycle starts. Yesterday I emptied, cleaned and refilled the spa and want to get it fixed. I started to prime pump 1 and then when I try to start the other it trips. I assume this is common but I don't know where to start. My neighbor is an electrician so he will be able to help me if I know exactly where to look. The spa is a Sunbelt Jupiter series located here. Spa Model Thanks everyone!
