  3. My personal pick for heater are Raypack, very reliable and quiet while running. the 336,000 btu model will work. If you are kind of lazy with water balance get one with a cupro nickel heat exchanger. http://www.raypak.com/jumpPool.cfm?target=Raypak_Digital.htm I also like Pentair heaters. If you really want to go all out Jandy has a Hi-E2 heater that 95% effcient compare to 82 -84 for others. they are pricey. I don't install the gas so can't comment on the tank size. Thank you for the info. Would you say the 336 btu is close to the size needed or should I go up to a 400 btu to be safe? Thanks again, John
  4. Hello all my first post. I would like to add a pool heater to my pool and need some help with picking a good model. First some details. I have a 16x32 inground and would like to only heat it in the months of Sept and April. I have not problem keeping it warm with a solar cover for the rest of the months in use. I would like to go with propane reasoning is, I have no way to run 220v or my gas line to my pool without cutting up the ground. first what is the right BTU and would a 100 gallon tank of propane be enough or do I have to go with a larger bottle? Thank you for the help. John
