  1. We just got our Limelight Flair. We decided to go with concrete pad with concrete walkway connecting the pad to our existing patio. Our tub is 7' x 7' and we went with 11' x 9' pad. It cost us $800.
  2. "The lights on the Flair are pretty darn cool though, especially at night! Almost looks like a little space ship. lol With ozone in that spa it should be fairly easy to keep things clean and such." That's what my husband said. He thought it looks like a space ship too
  3. Thanks for all your advices. We went to the dealer and wet tested all 3 models. Well, I made my husband get in and I just put my feet in. After testing them out, we placed an order for Flair in sapphire/driftwood. It comes to 7100 which includes cover, cover lift, steps, delivery, set up and chemical. We also asked for ozonator. Is the price fair? Sovereign was good but my husband felt that jets in Flair were as good as moto massage. Also, jets were not as powerful as Flair. And I must admit, those lights are pretty cool. Bengal was just way to weak. Thanks again and will report back when we have it all set up!
  4. Thank you all for your explanations and help. This really helps and at the same time leads to more questions. Is there a difference between 110v and 220V? In terms of performance? Also, since Bengal has less number of jets, is it less powerful than Flair or Sovereign? In your expert opinions, is Sovereign worth $2000 more? I am really leaning toward Flair but I am not sure about the "loud waterfall noise."
  5. We are first time hot tub shoppers. We went to the Hot Spring dealer yesterday and so far are interested in Bengal, Flair and Sovereign. The dealer thought Bengal was best value for the money, but we are not too sure about it. It does not have the waterfall feature and has only one light. It also has less jets. According to him, waterfall and lights are not really useful features and that most people do not really use them. In fact, he said more lights you have in the tub (more holes), more likely they will cause leak. Is that true? He also mentioned that with 110v, we do not have to change the electrical wiring so will cost us less. Limelight Flair has all the things we want but only has 3 year warranty. However, it has multiple lights and waterfall feature. Sovereign is nice but is $1700 more. So, do you think we should get Bengal? Or should we get Flair even with less warranty? Are the repair costs expensive if it needs to be fixed? Or should we just spend more money and get Sovereign? We went to Sundance dealer too, but were not impressed with the dealer. Thank you.
