  1. Well, To update, the same night I wrote this the FC started holding. I switched to clorox and after using alot of test strips am eye balling it pretty accurately these last few days. Im maintaining about a 1ppm from soak to soak with alot of dilligence. I think that Ill probably just up the amount of product Im using and ppm so I can pay a bit less attention to it. Now Im ordering the Gentle spa, Id really like softer water. I loved that about the Artic Onzen system.. and I was also actually about to do a search to see if anyone had any opinions on Spa Perfect by Natural chemistry to see if I could get my "toxic" product load even less. Thanks for posting your system, Nitro. So far, so good...
  2. Thats better than a hell of a deal. I normally sell that spa for around $11.5k Thanks for the feedback castletonia! We got the spa and absolutely love it. Im really glad we decided on clearwater. We had it narrowed down to Artic, clearwater and hotsprings and really, there wasnt much clearwater didnt win out on.. we are 100% happy with it.
  3. My TA is about 90, PH 7.4-.5 ish.. CH 250.. but... I feel like Im adding alot of chlorine. Id like to use Nitro's approach and as of now Ive added 44ppm total since fill of sea klear chlorine granules. Ive also shocked with oxyspa mps once, adding 1 oz (2.5 Tbs) because we went to get in and there was 0 FC Usually when I add chlorine, Im adding ATLEAST 6ppm. Sometimes up at 10. I added 10 ppm before anyone ever got in the tub, prefiltered the water through the prefresh filter... and it was back down to O FC in 5 hours. Even if I add 10ppm, by the morning, it's back down to 0. I'm going to start using the non stabilized chlorine (Clorox), but Im just confused why my chlorine is getting consumed so quickly. We shower before entering, no fancy products or anything, no suits.. just two adults and a toddler sometimes. We've used it 2 times a day since we got it. We do have well water, is it just oxidizing all those organic wastes that come along with it being well water even though I ran it through the prefresh filter? Or are we just way more filthy then I thought ? Thanks!
  4. 7500 + tax This is the signature clearwater monaco, covermate I, steps, cover, chemical kit, delivery. It was a floor model, had water in it for about a month. It seems like a hell of a deal, but I just wanted to make sure. We had originally been interested in the smaller XS86L or St Andrew Gold. But this is 1000 cheaper then the St Andrew would be and 1000 more then what the XS would be....
