I really like Leisure Pools and Blue Lagoon is the dealer close to me in Kentucky. However, they have not been around very long so I'm not sure how to evaluate the quality of their work. If anyone is familiar with them please let me know what you think about them. Thanks.

I thought I had narrowed my choices down to three manufacturers, San Juan, Viking, and Blue Hawaiian, but I just found a Leisure Pool dealer that is an hour and a half away and will install in my area. The issue is that the dealers for the other three manufacturers have been in business for 10 years, or more, and have a long track record. The Leisure Pool dealer has only been in business for a couple of years. I really like the designs and quality of the Leisure Pools better than the others. In fact, they have pretty much the exact pool I am looking for. My problem is how to evaluate the quality of the contractor since they haven't been around very long. How would you go about determining the quality of the Leisure Pool contractor and trying to decide whether or not to go with the Leisure Pool contractor? All things being equal I would rather have the Leisure Pool over the others. In case anyone has feedback on this particular contractor, I live in Kentucky and the Leisure Pool Dealer close to me is Blue Lagoon Pools in Morehead. Thanks for any advise you can provide.

My wife and I are going to have a new fiberglass pool installed before next summer. We have been doing some research to try and figure out what we want. After reading some posts on here we decided it was very important to find a reputable contractor, even more than the brand of pool we choose. After doing some leg work through the BBB and other places, I have found three contractors that appear as though they do very good work and have very low customer complaints against them. One is a Viking dealer. One is a San Juan dealer. One is a Blue Hawaiian dealer. I do not have prices yet from each dealer so that could very well sway which way I decide to go, but my question is this; all things being equal, which manufacturer would you go with, or is the quality between these brands so comparable that the decision should come down to which pool design I like the best?
