  1. when spa called for heater, gfci tripped, i have a 98 coleman with an ACC smart touch digital 2000 with a nexa salt generator. i spoke with the acc tech who said the element was bad, i checked the ohms across the terminals=12.2 i got a new element, took out old, was rusty in places, put in new, tub was up and running for a week, than the gfci tripped again checked the ohms=11.5 checked water-ph was good, salt was only at 1300ppm contacted acc again who replaced my element, only this time i upgraded to a titanium, when the element showed i took an ohms reading before installing and was surprised to see 11.2, so does this mean the old element was good and the problem lies somewhere else installed new element and tub is now running again~very confusing~as this would prove that the element is the problem i am waiting now for tub to reach running temp, before i balance water does anyone have any ideas of why this problem arose and what i should look for especially if it happens again Thanks Paul
  2. Hi gang I was given a Coleman 411 opal, I looked at it before filled with water and the pumps work but the water temp wont go past 85, I decided to take it and buy a complete new spa pack(any recommendations) but I have no knowledge of spas and of course I have no manual, there are 2 pumps- 1=coleman spa powerwroks 230v dual speed 1 1/2-1/6 hp 8.4 amps 2=coleman spa powerworks 230v 1 1/2 hp 7.5amps and 1 blower conger brothers 422007ct, 4.5 amps, 240v, 140cfm static PSI 3.8 The original control pack is a coleman powerworks II control system (circuit is Balboa 400-ca) I intend to get a new ozone system (the original system was a coleman powerworks ozone system series IV, UV bulb chamber) Any recomendations as to upgrade and any help on what a newbie needs to know about spas Thanks Paul
