  1. I'll check....if there is continuity through the pressure switch, thermostat and high limit I would assume the circut isn't closing. Are the connectors at the top and sides of the contactor for 120v? How do I wire it to close the circut?
  2. sounds like something is wrong at the contactor coil. The coil is what pulls the contactor in to start heating. There should be a wire on each side. Maybe one is off or both are on the same connection Thats what I think is the problem...there's black, blue, red and white wires on the sides and top and bottom. I have a picture I can email if that would help.
  3. Hello folks, hoping someone can help me out. I have an older model Cal Spas 1995 tub. Everything seems to be working fine except the heater contactor (or is it called relay?) which is supposed to engage when low speed kicks in. I can push the plastic tabs in on the contactor manually and the heater will start heating. When I turn the temperature gage topside low speed kicks in but the heater contactor doesn't engage. Could be the heater and/or low speed contactors are wired incorrectly? I took it in a tune up last fall and I think the tech may not have wired it properly. Ideally I'd like to get a wiring diagram, but can't find one anywhere. Service dealers don't want to touch it and receommend I buy a new pump & controls. I may have to...I just want to make sure everything is wired properly first. Any advice would be appreciated.
