I have a 30,000 gallon above ground pool, attached spa and of course both are heated through a propane heater. Last season we had a leak detection company locate 2 leak points in our Rayvac and skimmer line. Both were repaired. We opened our pool a few weeks ago and of course are keenly focused on whether the problem from last year has been appropriately fixed. We live a suburb of Phila Pa, no trees around, about 2400 square feet of cement decking around the pool and typically a nice breeze flows over the pool surface. Apparently we are still loosing about 1/8th to 1/4 inch of water daily. We did the bucket test over 2 days - pool lost about 1/2 inch and bucket about 3/8ths of an inch. How much water do you typically loose daily through normal evaporation? Appreciate any advice that can be offered. Thank you!
