I've been talking to several local dealers. One has a 2008 Grandee floor model that they quoted me $9K.... seems a bit high and the store looks like it's likely to close any day. Another local dealer has a floor model Grandee that they quoted me $7500. However, it has a blue interoir that is not listed in the 2008 catalog... I'm guessing that it must be a left over from 2007... anyone know for sure. I spoke with a third dealer briefly last night and he told me that they have a shipment due in the next few days with 2009 Grandees. We didn't talk hard about price but he quoted me high 8's.

Hey - I've been researching hot tubs for the last couple of weeks, and based on what's available in my area I have it narrowed down to these two. (HS Grandee and Jacuzzi J-365) Unfortunately, none of my local dealers for either brand have filled models available to wet test. I have not pushed any of the dealers hard on price yet, but at this point it looks like the HS Grandee is coming in around $2K more than the J-365. After looking at both of them a couple of times, I like the controls on the Grandee and it does seem to me to be built a bit better. However, I'm looking for some expert opinions to see if the Grandee is really worth the $2K extra (lower operating costs, fewer repairs, etc) before I lay down the cash. Thanks, Jason
