  1. Yes it does. I got the code once before and a backwash fixed it.
  2. My kids were using the hot tub and I went to my pool equipment and saw that my Raypak P-R406A heater was throwing the HL2 code. I turned it off and it started working again. About 15 minutes later the code appeared. Turned off the equipment for 10 seconds then turned back on and it worked fine. Any idea how to fix or exactly what the high level 2 code means?? Any help would be appreciated.
  3. I am glad I didn't have to sue them. I understand that there is a cost with upgrading and have no problem paying it. If they did't take care of it then I would have to use legal remedies.
  4. Here was my original post regarding the plaster issue. http://www.poolspaforum.com/forum/index.ph...c=19834&hl= Thanks for the reply s. I believe that she wants a aggregate plaster. Cobalt or sapphire to be exact. The pool builder hosed our original plaster job and after 5 years it has fallen off the pool. The original plaster never seemed right so finally they agreed to replaster and white plaster is free. I was thinking if I could upgrade to a color aggregate for $2000 then that is a good deal. Just was not sure if there is a wear difference or which one hides the imperfections better.
  5. I am getting my pool replastered under warranty. I have the ability to upgrade my plaster at a minimal cost. My wife wants to go with a color aggregate. My question is are there advantages / disadvantages of colored plaster vs white? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  6. Already received that. Any ideas what I can do to ensure proper bonding...
  7. UPDATE>>>>>> Received a call from the pool company. They are going to re plaster the pool as long as I remove the complaint from the BBB. I told them I would as soon as a get a letter from them committing to the new plaster. Within 10 minutes a had an e-mail telling me what they were going to do. Next question...Is there anything I should make them do to ensure the re plaster is done right???
  8. Thanks for the responses...I have filed a complaint with the BBB and hopefully they can try for some resolution. I found a product called E-Z Patch® 1 F.S. White Pool Plaster Repair (Fast Set) I was told that it works and can be set underwater. The plaster is only about 10 inches down from the coping on the spa wall inside the pool...Hopefully I can do the patch and it will look OK. At least the pool is not leaking....Knock on wood....
  9. Hopefully I can get some ideas of what my options are. About 4 years ago we had a gunite pool put in. Within 2 weeks we noticed marks in the plaster. We were told the original plaster was shorted and they would have to re-plaster the pool. At the end of 2005 they did replaster the pool and we closed it. Long story short this weekend my wife noticed a hole in the plaster. It is about 5 inches wide and 6 inches long. It seems to m that the company did not do the plaster correctly 2 times. Any ideas what recourse / options that I have. I am pissed. Thanks
