Has anybody ever had the situation where the pump which turns on for "cleaning" cycles, and is Jet2 on a Geneva/Caldera won't pull from the filter intake basket? This pump is plumbed to intake from two places, the basket via. a 2" check valve and the floor 2" intake directly. What i get is water only goes to the pump from the foot well intake. The basket has very minimum water going in, not even enough to cause a well swirl which should trap floating stuff. I suspect there is something wrong with the valve. I covered the intake from the well one time and caused it to draw from the basket, it did for a while. The valve then stuck again and won't open for the heck of it now. The big problem is all of the tubing and stuff under this tub is locked in that foam the spray to insulate the tub. I don't want to cut and remove more than I need and I am not sure where the valve would actually be located. Any good ideas on how to deal with that foam stuff? Anybody have a simular problem with this tub know where the check/flow valve is acutally located? Hoping to get some ideas before cutting into that foam.....
