  1. I wish I could follow mine in this way, but my conduit runs under a stained concrete deck. As the temp in the pool has warmed, I've kept trying to pull with no luck. I'm considering using a high temp/high pressure waterproof splice to add a new light. Otherwise, I'm not sure how to be assured I can use the light without ripping out the deck.
  2. I can't see any type of lock or restriction.
  3. I have a Pentair SAm light (color changing) that has gotten water in it and no longer works. When I removed the light, I found that there is only enough slack in the line for the light to reach the surface of the water. I disconnected the wiring at the dry box and attached a cable to hold the opposite end of the cord. I pulled until my eyes popped out trying to get the cord to move and it didn't budge. I've looked and felt inside the light housing and can't see or feel anything that should have it in a bind (plaster, etc.) What can I try next to get the cord moving? We have a a large outdoor dinner party next week and my wife is adamant that we need to have the pool lit. If all else fails, I'd settle for putting in a light and hoping for one night's run time, but I'm not sure I could pull that off without draining the pool far enough to keep the light dry.
