  1. The best thing to do since you have no prior experience is to see if one of the pool service companies around you do a pool school. They come out for an hour and teach you how to take care of your pool. a little expensive, but will save you money in the long run. Basic care of a pool is pretty easy, but there are a thousand little thing that can trip you up that the pros know and you will have to learn. Also start reading here and else where ALOT to learn all you can.
  2. I have a switchless whisperflow that has gone out. They gave me a new on that has the switch on the back. Can I just hook it up or do I need to go bck and get another one without the switch? Thanks for the help.....
  3. I am putting in a new 2 speed A.O. Smith motor (B984) and the old one has all the connections in a line. Starting with the ground (green) then a black, blue and red wire. The new motor is different. I can connect according to the schematic, but want to be sure I wire it correctly. Am I right to assume after the ground comes the common wire (black) then the high speed (blue) then the low speed (red). Thanks......Matthew
  4. hmmm..... i ran it for about 20 min. on high, then all night on low speed and still have the problem. i will run some more on high and see if there is improvement.
  5. hey PC, what do you think a reasonably amount of time would be before the sputter subsides?? thanks...
