  1. Just wanted to know if anyone can recommend a new spa for me. I live in SE Michigan and have owned 2 spas in the past 10 or so years. The 1st was a Coast that I picked out myself (1999) and we loved it. It was deep enough (42") that we never got cold in the winter, besides the temp went to 107. We moved - the house we bought had a Cal which we do not care for. I don't know the dimensions but it is not deep enough for us. In the summer our shoulders get bit by mosquitos and in the winter we freeze. It was purchased in 97 or 98 and there are not enough jets for our liking either. Our Coast spa has a ton of jets including feet and calf for the lounger. We went to the Pool & Spa show at the Rock Financial Showplace a few weeks ago and to our surprise there were only 4 or 5 Spa vendors - the times we went before the place was packed! Anyways, we put a refundable deposit on a Master Spa - despite having the feeling that we were dealing with a very SLIMY used car salesman. I know - should have went with my gut instinct there. Anyways, we cancelled the order on the Spa after hearing less than desirable reviews about it - though we are still fighting to get our "completely refundable deposit" back from this idiot in Ann Arbor who called my husband an a**hole on the phone. Another story totally. The dealers we used to go to in our immediate area are all out of business. Not sure where to go or what brand to pursue. We know we want an 8X8 spa with a lounger and plenty of jets overall especially feet and calf jets. ANY ADVICE? ANY SUGGESTIONS???
  2. I do not have any experience with Sundance - only Cal and Coast. We bought a Coast - LOVED it! At the time we bought it it was the BEST insulated on the market. The water temp went higher than of the others marketed at the time. The dimensions were deeper than other spas and if you want 12 month use - you want it deep enough so your shoulders do not get cold. That is the complaint I have with our Cal Spa - not deep enough. It was here when we bought the house so we didn't pick it out. I shopped for a new spa this Spring at a pool and spa show - no Cal or Coast dealers present....hmmmm. Economy so bad dealers are not much into marketing??? Not sure - all I know is the only spa I remotely liked was a Master Spa - but the reviews are horrible on the Master Spa that I cancelled. Still shopping....
