  1. nevermind, I was sharing a circuit with my a.c. and evidently something had gone bad in my ac shorting my hot wires together and at the same time frying one of my hots at the disconnect/fuse panel in my basement so I had 2 hots that were in phase. I could have just used it in 115 volt setting and it probably would have worked.
  2. I have an old Sunwave spa that I just installed and it doesn't heat. It maintains temp (I think) It's been freezing outside for days and it just sits at about 65 degrees. The thermostat doesn't shut off unless I turn the temp way down, the heater on when lit light lights up, and I checked the element's resistance and it is just below 10 ohms. I don't know what else to check? It uses the old brett aqualine style heater with the square 5x5 dual voltage 1350/5500 watt element. From what I can tell inside if the heater on light is lit then power is getting to the element, and as I said it's resistance seems correct. HELP! PLEASE HELP! Thank you, Brad
