  1. Glad no one was hurt!!!!!!!!!! No hot tub from China ever amounted to anything in the history of Hillvaley That tubs a slacker MickFly
  2. Hello Grunt My wife and i have had the jacuzzi 480 for about 3 month now. It is a very good tub for therapy, i have had lower back problems since my teens, also i do alot of driving during the day for work 40 minuets in the tub really loosens my whole back and i now sleep though the night. Having said that, the two things i have had problems with are the pillows and stereo. The pillows will not stay on. jacuzzi must go back to the drawing board on this design!!!!! the clips on the tub are not long enough. So the pillows hit the tub but the clip in the pillow will not hold on tight enough, the slightest touch and they fall off. As far as the stereo I'm on my third one. The first one would not play a CD. second one worked for five minuets then went dead third times should have been a charm but the remote doesn't work. the remote works through the stereo. If i had to do it over i would be soaking in a tub with out the stereo and saved the money spent on it, but as a first time buyer i wanted it all. Other than these small problems that my dealer is working on this is a first class tub!!!!! As for the foot dome its a 50/50 when you want some foot time there it is when you don't you simply stretch out. as with any tub there are more ways to get comfortable than just sitting in the seats. Some times i put a float under my head and upper back and just relax. I'm sure you and your wife will love any of the three spas you are looking at Good luck
  3. We have the 480 it is a fantastic spa the only problem i have with it is the head rest. I think they need to go back to the drawing board on this feature. they refuse to stay on even with redesigned inserts in the head rests. have you looked at sundanse ?
  4. Hello all ordered the 2009 480 February 14 was told 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Called to day for an update, was told another three to four weeks. Reason for delay, new style stereo controls are not in to yet. Are any other manufactures delaying there 2009 line ? Being new to hot tubs and this forum is this a common accurance with a new model year? Also i have been reading many posts on this board and noticed lots of repairer questions for all brands of tubs, but very few for jacuzzi. The posts for jacuzzi seem only for a price check or a comparison. Is it that there are not many jacuzzi owners, or is this just a well built spa with out many problems? However i do see many sundance posts. Being they are ouned by the same company and are built in the same factory sharing many of the same components why so few jacuzzi posts. Thanks to all
  5. We ordered a jacuzzi 480 about a month ago. I think ill call the dealer for a progress report and see what he says. I hope this is not bad news on the horizon. The main reason we went with jacuzzi was because it was a top brand, and we really felt good about the dealer.
  6. If you are in Bergen County there is one right over the border in Chestnut Ridge, NY....very close to Montvale. I forget the name of it but can find it if you're interested. The dealer in Chestnut Ridge is B&B pool and spa. They have been in business for decades and is family owned
  7. Thanls for the reply Spaworld As with anything new i'm sure theres a learning curve. I hope we can master the water maintenance aspect befor my family develops a flesh eating disease
