I am trading in a 1997 Tiger River that I got for free and put 300.00 into and it could need a lot more work. I met with a dealer in Florida and have two options in my price range. I can get a brand new 2008 Hydropool 5000 for 4900.00 with everything except the upgraded lights and stereo or I could get a 2007 Marquis Destiny for the same price with the Genesis Bromine System and remote control. Everyone is saying the year old Marquis since its bigger and the quality is superb but just wanted to check. Thanks to anyone who responds. Later Brian

I just got quotes for a new Nordic Crown II and a Hydropool model 4000 Gold for about 4000.00 with everything (steps, chem, warranty, cover). What do you guys and gals know about these? Are they worth it or do they have issues? I have a 97 Tiger River Bengal that needs about 1000.00 worth of work and was considering a trade as they will take 700.00 not working towards a new spa. I need all the advice I can get. Thanks

Has anyone looking at hot tubs seen this site: Incredible Hot Tubs?They have Balboa Electric and GE pumps so it seems like quality stuff with 6-hp motors and good heaters but is it too good to be true? They have new and scratch and dent models that are on warranty. It seems cost effective and quality if it has a warranty but the prices are like only 4000 plus 400 shipping. Fact or Fiction and are their any online quality companies that sell wholesale or used?

Since I replaced my circulation pump and thermistors and my heater checked out by a tech with a meter, do I really need to start looking at buying and new board? THey are crazy expensive and cost 450+ for the Tiger River 1997 Bengal. I hate to be in this position but what else can I do?

When I turn the pump on, it has a fast drip coming from the screw areas that attach the black plastic cover to the jet pump. Some of the screws are rusted so the dealer told me that its an easy fix. I will by thermistors tomorrow but the bad part is that I have to drain it yet again. Any other advice?

I went to the dealer after your advice today Dan and then they stated that I try the test button on the heater and powering off and on a few times to see if it would clear into the heater and both did not work. I whould have known as they want to do a service call since my gasket is leaking on my jet pump (Wavemaster 5000). I know I could probably fix that myself. What do THERMISTORS DO? Can that really make the read light blink? I'm hoping its not the board. Lastly, what wire should ground onto the Silentflo E5 Circ. pump? I see the spot but have no wire.

What does air bound mean? I can get new thermistors today, and I checked the hoses coming out of the circ. ump and it was pushing water. Is that what you mean as I am just starting to get familiar with it? Also, I took the filter out and can feel water being pushed into the filter area through that little hole. Thanks.

I inherited a 1997 Bengal-Tiger River Hot Tub. I just put a new silent flow e5 cic. pump in and that works but I still see a flashing red light where the heater light should be solid red. I am running it wouthout the filter so that should not be an issue. Water is not heating! Please help as I am a beginner!!!!!! Thanks everyone BRIAN
