No there are not any ants around the control panel, but I will try the filter pump relay and see what happens. Thanks for the response.

Just noticed for the last couple of days that my pool pump is still running after it is scheduled to shut off. I have an Aqualink RS8 and cleared the system memory this morning but the pump is still running. I also went to the outside controls and tried to put it on service but it does not shut off when I change from auto to service mode. The only way I have been able to get the pump to cut off is shutting off the power. Is there something else I can try before I have to call for a pool repair? Is it possible that my Aqualink is on the blitz? Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks you so much. I did find an aqualink troubleshooting manual online that shows a diagram of the connection. I just wanted to make sure before I disconnected it and left if for a few weeks that the programs would run as programmed. We rarely use the spa button anyway, but will definately have someone repair soon. Thanks again for the responses.

I have an Aqualink RS8 and have been having intermittent problems with phatom programs running on my pool. The waterfall will come on when not programmed, etc. I'm almost sure it is the spa side switch. I emailed Aqualink and that was their suggestion. Can I just disconnect the spa switch until I can get someone out here to look at it or replace it? I'm going to be out of town for a little while and don't want these phantom programs to run while I am away. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
