  1. Flashing red light indicates the pressure is not closing or stuck closed. First try to run the spa without the filter. If this helps either the filter id dirty or the pressure switch is failing. Also there are slice valves mounted in the plumbing before and after the pump. Make sure they are all the way up. They can become loose and close themselves. If all this does nothing but no flashing lights then look at the heater. I like to make sure the spa is sending voltage to the heater first before replacing it. Thanks, I jumped the Pressure Swiitch and turned it on and everything worked. I turned it off and now an going to get a pressure switch, where I am no sure yet. Any ideas. Thanks
  2. Ok, I need an expert here. I have a California Cooperage by Colemen Model 70. EVERYTHING WORKS BUT THE HEAT. I got a low flow switch detection (red light flashing) so I turned it off and on after a while and everything was ok, now not so much. Any ideas, do I need to replace the PRESSURE SWITCH? The HEATER? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  3. did you figure it out? I have a model 70 cooperage and the light wont even come on and no heat!! let me know if you figured it out. Thanks
  4. I have an old California Cooperage by colemen on a 220 line and this is my first winter In Cleveland, OH. My electric bills tripled and my stand-by temp is about 99 degrees. Is there way to lower this to like 65 degrees? is the thermostat the little round thing on top of the heater with the fan like switch? If yes, do I turn it up or down to decrease heat. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

  6. I have on old (1993) hot tub that I would like to re-stain. I was planning on using deck/fence stain. Is this ok and do I have to use a clear coat or water sealant? Any ideas or past experiences would be very helpful. Thanks
  7. Is there anything wrong with using foam insulation panels inside of the wood walls? Will this do anything for heat efficiency? Would this retain condensation and make the wood rot? Just an idea, wondering what everyone thinks. Thank

  10. Thanks! I will get back to you after I get it home and wired. Thanks Tom I got it home and fixed the leaks now my question is how to wire it. I can only wire it at 120 for numerous reason so here it is. I have a 120 line outside that has 12 gauge wire (2 with ground) and I changed the circuit breaker to 20 amps. where does the second ground to? Straight in the ground using a metal ground pounded in the ground? Is 12 gauge wire enough? Thanks
  11. Thanks! I will get back to you after I get it home and wired. Thanks Tom
  12. The first thing I was wondering was the weight of this thing. Second I want to hook it up 110 and it is 220 so a schematic would be great and last this thing does not currently work so a repair manual would be ideal. Not sure if these exist but it would be beneficial. Thanks Tom
