  1. The water in every spa circulates when the spa is being used and when it filters ( and circulates constantly if the spa has a 24/7 circ pump) and, added at a rate of about 1/2 cup to 300 gallons of water, is VERY diluted. Plus, spa owners should be monitoring their pH to make sure it doesn't get too low. Based on this info., I would not be concerned about stainless jets corroding. Sandi Well thank you for informing me better.I am about a week from reciving my new tub and was a bit concerned cause i too ordered stainless jets. To me the stainless jets help make your tub look luxurious, and with what tubs cost i want some bling baby. all my serching i heard nothing of stainless coroding.it may not be a real threat but its good to know it could happen if my levels arnt monitored ,and that my circ pump will help prevent it too.
  2. we too were looking at a sundance(cameo) and also wet tested the beachcomber578 and well ,were ordering a beachcomber720le. the 2speed pumps and the adjustable jets also helped us decide. hurry and post your pic's.so we can live vicarously through yours.
  3. ive seen a tread on here that has a pole on it.wonder if one could be started to help rate manufactures on warrenty, service and quality/longevity ect... im still new here so im not sure how to do a thread/pole for this
  4. I have heard of concern that a sloped pad will cause the water to rest to one side of the tub causing more stress on that side.and may cause premature tub cracking or leaks down the road. i would rather pay an other $300 for a new pad than risk my $10,000 investment
  5. well i think there claim it can save you $200 a month is a bit of a stretch. great ideal. im sure in summer it could replace the need for your tub heater. but heating costs would be worse in winter.would it be able to replace your tub heater,if not, do you think the savings it would genrate during the winter would be noticable?
  6. well josh, i too have been doin a search.was looking at the optima or cameo. i came across a beachcomber 720le which with stereo is a comparable price to the cameo.i found a few things i liked better. the jets are adjustable so you can turn induvidual jets harder or softer(somthing sundance would benifit from)and the 2 speed pump meant the water could be active but you can still talk. and the stereo on the sundance made it hard to hear cause its sound was from 2 corners. i deff sugest wet testing.the sundance jets have punch but found it pushed us out of the seat. and was pins and needles after a few minutes. they are deffinately nice tubs but ill be getting a beachcomber.
  7. I havent had a pool installed by them ,but pollockpools in guelph seams great. The photos of brians work are amazing.and kathryn has been very patient and helpful with my search for a hot tub. worth your drive up to see them.if you take hwy 7 they are just as you enter town
