This past weekend we had some people over for the weekendand the hot tub seen alot of use .. Now the problem. some of the people got in the hot tub with shorts that had been washed with detergent ,and now our hot tub is loaded up with a lot of suds ,, and a film on the water surface. What do we do to get rid of this problem. Thanks in advance. Dpyle

We just got a new hot tub in July. After getting it set up and going, we started using it every nite, every thing was in check , After a one week of no use and still keeping it maintained, we went back in it, started the jets up and it was like we were in a bubble bath. We used the chemicals provided to us and the next day found a line of scum around the water level. When the jets are running the water does not seem clear, it gets very cloudy and when the jets are turned off, it seems to become crystal clear with a film on the top of the water. We have checked the PH, bromine, etc.... and everything is right where it should be. Just can't seem to get rid of the bubbles and scum around the tub. It has been shocked and used a defoamer, metal gone and nothing seems to take care of this.......thanks, Doyle
