  1. But if you know where the leak is aproximatly and you do tip it, make sure to tip in onto the equipment side. Thanks for the replies guys. I did a more thorough inspection this afternoon and think I know the approximate area. And it makes sense to tip it onto the equipment side. Mike
  2. Hi All, Just registered today. Read posts for about 3 hours this morning. Saw all the Costco/Hydro Spa negative posts. I bought my spa from Sunquest sales rep in Louisville. Paid $1750 for 2-3 person tub and $250 to run wiring. It has been great for 3 years. Refilled it 3 weeks ago and now I have a small leak somewhere underneath. I have only 2 access panels and cannot find the leak through them. My question is this: Can I empty it and turn it up on one side so that I can see everything and hopefully find leak? I know I will get a lot of flack over Sunquest. They apparently buy tub shells (2nds) from Hydro Spa and other parts elsewhere and build their own frames. They are really a scam as a lot of people never even get a tub and lose their money. I was one of the lucky ones who went in with eyes wide open and am happy with what I got for the money. I am pretty handy and work on my own car, computer, electrical, plumbing and other mechanical things around the house. So I didn't mind "too much" that I wouldn't have a warranty. As soon as I got it, I opened the access panels and found out I had a HydroSpa/HydroQuip power pack and the topside control is HydroSpa. Pump is Sta-Rite. The way they saved money was in poor frame construction and insulation and no overhead. I agree with all the Gurus who say you get what you pay for and won't bad mouth anyone or any Spa company, just need help with my question. Whew, sorry to write so much. Will I damage it by turning it up on side? What holds spa in frame? Thanks in advance, Mike
