Help me wise people....We have been shopping for a hot tub and have settled (we think) on a beachcomber (530 model). We have yet to wet test it, but like the look and the seats/arrangement. We have never had a hot tub before - so really know very little. A few questions: 1. any feedback on the brand beachcomber? we have been very VERY impressed with the local dealer, esp. vs other dealers here. 2. we are thinking about a salt filtration system. Any thoughts? I want to reduce as much as possible the use of chemicals and cause the lowest amount of environmental harm. The dealer is recommending a UV filtration system instead. Advice? 3. what is the coolest temperature that the hot tub can be set at and still ensure a clean product? We were thinking we could keep it lower in the summer months? 4. what is the easiest tub colour to keep clean? Or, alternatively, the hardest? 5. what is the one thing you wish you had known or done before you bought your hottub? 6. Finally, is a wet test really necessary? Again....all advice welcome. Cheers!
