  1. Got a quote for $8200 for a "special" July 4th sale on a new Marin spa, 2-4 weeks. Have not negotiated yet...what are you hearing? We just purchased a Marin earlier this month. Our price was $6700 which included cover, lifer, ozone, steps, delivery, and start up chemicals. We did NOT get a stereo. The dealer had to order from Sundance, he did not have in stock the colors, options we ordered. Our dealer, who is just down the street from us, advertises himself as "the #1 dealer of Sundance Spas". We are in southern Calif. Newbie...was the ozone an add on feature? Also the Marin in the 880 series right? What are your thoughts on the spa noew that you have used it for a month? Thanks. Yes, the ozone was an added on feature installed by the guy who delivered and set up the spa. It was not the Sundance unit, rather a Delzone (?) unit. This concerned me at first because as the guy was installing it I saw printed on the control panel box warning that the warranty would be voided unless the Sundance unit was used. I called and spoke to my dealer who stated that this unit was fine and that since the store did all the warranty work they would cover it. Maybe I'm foolish, but the paper work we'd signed specified that indeed the store would provide all service and I'd heard of the Del brand, so I let it pass. So far it seems to be working fine. We've now had the Marin a couple of months and I so far I love it. The only problem I have had is a disagreement between my wife and I over what temperature to keep it at. Can't blame the spa for that! And yes, the Marin is of the 880 series. Our average use is probably 5 nights a week for 45 minutes to an hour each time. Usually just the wife and myself, but occasionally our teen aged son as well.
