  1. SOrry so many questions but as you can see, I'm still researching....We're leaning towards HS right now but that's prob cuz we just looked at them yesterday. The day b4 that we were leaning towards the Dynasty....we'd just came from that dealer and he convinced us that was the best! lol Some time this week we're going to make it to the Jacuzzi dealer so, we'll see....
  2. Hearing stories like this horrifies me! My dh and I are not mechanical at all so this would be a horrible thing to end up happening to us if we buy a hot tub! I've heard it can be a nightmare if you have full foam insulation too but then we're told the other types are not as good at keeping the cold out so, what do you do??? Ugh!
  3. We are still trying to decide on a hot tub but thought we'd start preparing our ground and get the electrical done. Which is better, paying to have someone pour a cement floor for the tub or buy a pad for it to sit on? Over time, will the concrete crack or pad sink or buckle?? Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. I really appreciate the help given here. Blessings, SJeanine
  4. Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my post. I really appreciate it. My dh and I have been trying to find a hot tub still and so far we like the HS Sovereign model but we have a few dealers around and are wanting to check out all of them near us before making a final decision. One is a Jacuzzi dealer. Do you or anyone who reads this have an opinion on which of these two hot tubs would be the better one?? (Quieter, better insulated, better pumps, warranty)?? The Classic series is made of the Endural - new name for Rovel. It comes in any color you want, as long as it's white. Comes with tile - you can order it without. It is the older mold, not as fancy as the new version. Comes convertible 110/220. No waterfall, I don't think it comes with ozone - check the specs on the web site. The regular one is the newer design, more cool stuff, more color options, better jet placement because of no tile.
  5. What is the difference in the two??? Is one considered any better than the other??? Thanks so much for all your help. Sjeanine
  6. I like the looks of the Envoy but also like the Sovereign, in case we cant get a good price but what would be a fair price on either of these? It would come with the stairs and cover.
  7. Thanks for the info on the warranty. The guy didnt mention it was pro-rated...that is kind of creepy. We did wet test two hot tubs he had there. All we decided was that the tub needs to be at least 36" deep or my dh wont get anything out of the shoulder massagers. He really liked that. But, as I said, we've just started looking and so far...pretty confused. We went to a 2nd dealer who had a huge showroom but couldnt get anyone to come help us so we walked out....maybe we looked like we had no money...lol Anyway, we decided if we couldnt even get service in their store, we didnt want to buy from them. They had Jacuzzi's and Sundance. The only comment I'll make is on the warranty. Did they explain that the Dynasty has a prorated warranty? Compare it to the Caldera and they years covered will probably be similar but after a couple years you'll be paying for a good % yourself.
  8. I am still trying to find a hot tub and today my dh, son and I all went out shopping. We live in IL and we're close to the Iowa border so we hopped over there and went to a dealer who's been in business over 30 years and it is family owned. They carry Caldera's and Dynasty. I havent seen any posts here about the Dynasty. DOes anyone own one? Any thoughts or information you could share??? Thanks...still looking but just trying to make an informed decision. SJeanine
  9. I am trying to find a great dealer and hot tub that wont cost an arm and leg to run during our severe cold winters! What is a reputable brand with great insulation and possibly tell me a dealer you know who is around. We live near the Quad Cities, IL. Thanks. SJeanine
