i moved into a house with a hotspring classic, about 15 yrs old or more. it is not heating up. also it trips its internal breaker i called a repair man and he had me take out the filter and run it a couple hours to see if it would warm up. i did this and still no heat. as i was messing with it and i am thinking its the circulation pump or the heater itself. my question is, is there a way to figure out which one it is so i dont just start throwing parts at it waisting my time and money. the breaker that trips is the heater. also i noticed while no jets were on that i could hear and feel the circulating pump vibrateing (very softly). but i do not see any water movement in the tub. after about 5 min i hear it trip again. what are some steps to figure out what the problem is?
