Hi, new to forum. My Sovereign model 1 tub is leaking in a very weird way. Here is what is happening. Sometimes I will go out to the spa and it has leaked only a little bit. This will go on for weeks if I just top it off every now and then. But I recently used the knob that changes the jets and after i used it my spa drained in a day. So I thought maybe it was the jet selector that was leaking. I looked in the pump compartment and saw that it wasn't. Except for just a little around the switch. After checking all of the hose connections I finally came across where it is leaking. On my pump coming out of one side(the right side) is a black flexible sleeve. It connects to the inside of the fiberglass tub. Where it inserts ti the tub is where its leaking. I don't know what's in this sleeve but it is not the PVC tubing that goes to the jet selector and all the visible PVC that comes out of the other side of the pump. I dont know much about the layout of my spa but I have a theory. If I'm right about there being a seperate space which incloses the PVC for the jets I believe that this space is filling up with water and then leaking out around this black sleeve at the insertion point. I hear this trinkiling of water after I fill the up spa with everything off, right where the leak is happening. Kind of sound like it's leaking to the inside of this cavity, could this be? So with that said I have some questions. 1. Is there away to obtain a layout of the pump system? Or does any one know where or what that side of the pump and PVC go to? 2. Has this happened to anybody? Any speculation or help is greatly appreciated. I can provide pictures of where it's leaking if needed. I trust in this forum and would rather try and repair it myself. I have used this forum with great success in the past to replace my heater and pump. Thanx for any input I love my spa.
