The Trex is definitely our best interface. The Outdoor Accessories section has only been implemented for being able to see how everything would look on your deck. It hasn't been implemented to affect structural portions of the deck to this date. That is why it doesn't show up in the report. It is something Trex is planning on having us do for the next version, which I believe is due before next summer. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I just want to see a pic of that. I have never seen a bug with fins. I know some water bugs have like paddles for hind legs. But I have never heard of them biting.

I know this is probably a simple question with an even simpler answer, but what does the 'ozoning' do for the spa or water?

Okay, I would like to get a 2-4 person spa for those romantic nights with the wife. But I am actually quite unfamiliar with spa's. I have looked at them but I am a techno-geek and love all the kewl toys you can get. But which ones has everyone gotten in that size range and how do you like them and how much do they cost?

Tommytub, Have you ever figured out whether your deck can support the spa (w/water and people)? You can try designing the deck you have in either HotSprings deck designer or in Lowe's deck designer. Usually a hot tub requires a little more support right underneath it. Also, it would be good to check to see if your area has any codes about hot tubs on top of decks. This may be the deciding factor.

Hello, I just found out about this forum. I am tech support for the company that wrote the deck designer for Hot Spring. We have found that the majority of problems with the designer deal with popup blockers. I personally have found that most blockers don't disable well, so rather than turn them off, I leave them on and set them to allow www.diyonline.com. This usually eliminates the problem of the tool not starting. We are also working with Hot Spring to get them to set it so it doesn't use popups at all. Most of our clients have gone to this setup. (Lowe's being about the only exception.) (Yes we wrote the one for Lowe's as well.)
