  1. I own an '05 Bullfrog 552 and have been very happy with it. I live hear their factory, so I was able to negotiate a really good deal. I haven't had any trouble whatsoever with mine. It's quiet, energy efficient, and comfortable. If you're looking at any of their tubs, I would recommend getting the larger pumps. I tested a tub with the standard pumps and, while they seemed adequate, I was worried that they might not support some of the larger jet packs. I think it cost a few hundred dollars more than the "standard build" tub to be able to get the larger pumps and choose any configuration of jet packs. Worth the money in my opinion. Speaking of jet packs, I originally thought they were a bit of a gimmick, but I have found that I like moving them around occasionally to give my spa a different feeling. I've even bought a different jet pack to replace one that I didn't like much. My previous spa had a seat that always went unused because I hated the jet configuration. While it's not cheap to buy a new jet pack ($300 - $500), it is nice to have the option of buying a new pack or at least changing the configuration. All in all, I think they are well built spas. It's unfortunate that they aren't better marketed.
