I say go with the Intelliflo VF. I'm not sure if it will communicate with your Compool, but it doesn't matter since the VF model has it's own controller built in. You can program all of your equipment to turn on and off whenever you want directly thru the pump's software.

Just installed a new 60 sq ft DE filter and now my pump is leaking. When my solar is turned off pressure on my filter is about 24. If I turn the Jandy valve and run my solar panels the pressure increases to about 29 (since the panels are on the roof) and the pump starts to leak from the seal plate gasket. Pump is a 2hp Jandy JHP. Ant suggestions? I replaced the gasket and pump seal just in case already. I was thinking of downsizing the impeller to a 1 hp.

Hi, great forum. Can someone tell me if the output of an ozonator is affected by the temperature of the water? I understand that salt systems are less effective at lower temperatures, but not sure if ozonators are.
