  1. I bought this tub 2nd hand it was one that was warrantied for the shell so the shell and plumbing are completely new and they moved over the pumps and board from the original 2002 tub. I've had it about 2 months and about 3 weeks ago I got an Sn3 error code. I called Thermospas and they said it's a heat sensor and sent one out which I replaced. No more Sn3 error and the tub worked a few days then I started getting a FLO error message and the primary pump wouldn't turn on. When I hit the button I could hear it clicking but no flow at all. I tried putting in new filters and got the same results. I talked to a local repair guy who said it's probably the start capacitor or the centrifugal switch. I went to Grainger and replaced the start capacitor for $6.97 and was tickled when the spa started right up. I sat in it that night. The next morning I came out to find the same issue again. I checked the pressure switch, it was plugged in as it should be. Well I pulled the pump as I got a new one on Ebay but when I looked in the impellor there was a piece of the new filters in it. The one filter came with this weird piece of plastic that kind of looked like a handle so I left it on I should have pulled it out as this was apparently sucked into the wet end. Thinking I'd found the problem I put the pump back in and it worked again. Until later that night when the spa side controls wouldn't respond unless I really mashed them. I went to Balboa's website and it said to bypass the pressure switch to see if the hot tub works I did that but the pump still did the click click thing. So I'm going to replace the motor today and see if that fixes it. If anyone has an idea of something I might be missing please feel free to post it. Also on the thermospas website it says to top out the pressure switch and then back it down three full turns does that sound right? Thanks in advance.
