  1. Posted as requested: These show two pictures of the wall coming out from under the coping (which is wooden covered by thickly padded (but now old and ripping) vinyl) and one normal one of the wall/liner/coping looking as it should - attached, not buckling, not ripped.
  2. Very cool. Ok - here goes. The ones with the BLUE water were from last summer. The ones with the green water were yesterday after removing the cover for the season. That's when we discovered the buckling wall. We are about ready to just fill the damn thing in and be done with it. My poor pool.
  3. Can you tell me how to post the picture? Or I can email it to you directly. Well, after taking of the cover a few minutes ago our problems are SO beyond coping anyway. I'll take more pictures - but the short version is that the wall under the wood which is covered in coping seems to be collapsing in toward the pool. It's looking bad for this summer. Let me know how to post my pictures please! Thanks!!
  4. Can you tell me the name of the on line store in Michigan where you found the vinyl coping? I've looked and looked and looked. My pool sounds like yours to be quite honest. We put in a new liner two summers ago but couldn't touch the coping because of the age of the pool. Now we want to try to patch it or cover it or anything to make it at least look nice. I'm trying to figure out how to attach the pictures but am not having much luck. I apologize for how long it took me to get back to you. I forgot all about it until we just this minute took the cover off of our pool and saw the ugly, ripped coping again. Sigh...
  5. We have a very old inground pool (possibly 20+ years old) with a wooden frame. The wooden frame is covered in a white, vinyl-type of material (which is what rims the entire pool edge). This material has begun tearing, cracking and peeling revealing the wooden frame. My question is - how do we fix it? We can't seem to find the right material to fix it anywhere, most likely because of the age of the pool. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I have some pictures if anyone would like to see it to get a better idea of the problem, but I can't figure out how to attach them.
