  1. Hi everyone, I own a 2003 Sundance Optima with the Sunzone CD ozone unit (CD, not UV). The ozonator icon no longer shows up on the panel display, so I started to investigate. I found that when I removed the CD ozonator unit, and opened up the case, a small 1-AMP fuse inside was blown. I tried replacing it with another 1-AMP fuse, and as soon as I re-installed the unit and applied power, the new fuse blew as well. I also checked the 120V/240V transformer that is inside the CD ozone unit, and the windings appear to be fine, with no shorts or opens. So, I am planning on purchasing a new CD ozone unit, but at roughly $250 I want to make sure that it is actually the CD ozone unit that is bad, and NOT something else, like the spa controller board. Any idea why this internal CD ozone fuse may be blowing? The unit has a life expectancy of 4-5 years, so I guess it is about time for a failure Is this a symptom of a unit failing of old age????? Thanks, Tom
