  1. I have eaten grapes, and string cheese. No crumbs. Easy to retrieve if they fall into the water.
  2. I do occasionally. I am always worried about the crumbs getting into the water though.
  3. Yepper, it's with the new one I bought...... Gotta love it!!! I was just thinking about my last tub that I owned that was a little 4 person Jacuzzi that had 4 jets and a bunch of tiny holes around the seat for air(cold air) I went out one time to use it...took the cover off....and it was EMPTY! The water had leaked out and I didn't even realize it.. That tub caused me many headaches and I had told myself before that happened the next time something went wrong that was it... Well I listened to myself, went to the shed, grabbed my sledge hammer... you can guess what happened next... Lets just say RIP hot tub that is now in 1000 pieces in the landfill... haha So I bought a new one that is creating more problems than that one... I don't think Ill be taking out the sledge any time soon though... haha Got stopped tonight with negative 25 degree windchill. BRRR!
  4. When I purchased my Jacuzzi, the dealer gave me a booklet published by Jacuzzi which detailed in specific exactly how wiring should be done. I would ask if this is available for your spa or as an alternative, go to the website and research it.
  5. Rose, I hope you have had some resolution to your problems. I hope you will be soaking again soon.
  6. Sorry, computer challenged! Where would you suggest I go to buy the k2106 and what should I expect to pay for it?
  7. We put one on ours. It was not expensive. When we open the cover, snow will accumulate on the cover without melting. We live in central illinois so anything to help with heating. Weighs next to nothing, just lay it over the cover.
  8. RN here. As previously stated hot water dilates blood vessels, alcohol also dilates blood vessels. When you blood vessels are dilated, your blood pressure falls. When you are seated, this is not a huge issue. When you stand, you blood pressure can/will fall even more. If you are sufficiently inebriated, the fall in BP plus cerebral depressant effect of alcohol can make you much more prone to passing out. Again moderation is the key and perhaps if going to have a little more than normal, turning down the temp a few degrees.
  9. I use bromine too. I always shower after being in tub. If you do have a rash, you probably should be seen to determine if it is an allergic rash or if it is caused by pseudomonas bacteria. Do you shock your spa on a regular basis?
  10. I have a one month old J335. I have been using reserve and renew by leisure time which is a bromide based system. I have been following instructions given and shocking with MPS after every soak. I now have lovely spots on my torso. Don't itch, not pustules. The question is, do I need to drain spa? Dealer says no. What do you think? I did put in bromine tabs. I want to know I have bromine in spa now. With reserve and renew, after adding renew, bromine level goes way up and then pretty much disappates. To drain or not to drain. That is the question.
  11. We are in the country too, and while I think we made the best choice to go outside, it does give me the willies to be out there at night by myself. I would be more comfortable soaking alone if it were on the porch.
  12. I am in Illinois with no summer experience, but we struggled with deciding to go on covered deck or outside. I am so happy we chose outside. The stars are so beautiful on clear winter nights. We may enjoy the view nearly as much as the soak.
  13. I am 5'2''. I was the one who insisted on lounger. My 6'5'' hubby could have cared less. But once home, he is the one who uses the lounger because otherwise his shoulders are out of the water. OUrs is a 36'' tall tub. I find that I rotate to the different seats of our Jacuzzi 335 as each seat gives a little different therapy. I didn't think about our height difference when making decision. Happily this works well.
