  1. TinyBubbles!!! Thanks for the quickest responses! When I PUT FC that was only for the Filter Settings not that it is set at FC I check the setting it is set at 2hours. I wish the dealer would respond as fast as you guys. I have had a call in for two days now with the same questions
  2. Hi, This is a brand new MasterSpa Legacy Envision Model. I've had it for 5 days now. All the modes are set to the default: Mode = Standard FC = Normal (per manual ever 2 hours) Temp = 102 There are three buttons on this model: (left to right) Jets Temp Light Jets are (appear to be on all the time), Press once to turn Pump 1 on or off and to shift between low/high seepds Low speed should turn off after 5 hours second press, hi jets for 15 minutes. I have not been able to turn off Pump 1.
  3. I have my set to Standard Mode and at 102 degrees. The low pump/jets are working 24 hours a day at this temp (36 straight hours now). When I had it set at 99/100, the pump/jets worked for about 12 hours and then shut off. I am wondering that setting at 102 is just too high. I am hoping that the pumps/low jets will eventually turn off. I am in the NE and the outside temp has been between 30-41 degrees, so its not better cold
  4. I just purchased a Legacy Envision Hot tub and am beginning to learn the basics of how to manage the tub. I have the Mode set to standard and the Temp set at 102. So far,, the pumps are always working and the dealer told me until it reaches the set temp the pumps will continue to work. While the panel says 101, the actual water does not seem to be that hot. Should I be looking at getting a pool thermometer to verify that the temp reading on the panel is actual the water temp?
  5. Mike, Good question! I've thinking the same thing. I just got my hot tub (Legacy Envison by Master Spa) last week and I am spending so much time reading and thinking about the different factors for the hot tub. I am checking the levels twice a day to see if the levels are where they should be. So many people told me, that the first week is difficult to make all the adjustments to be perfect. I know my Ph is too high, so I add the Ph decreasing, the FC at times is ok, but then I am quick to add the sanitizer. Then the temp! I watch it too much I think I had it set at 101 and the pumps were working to get to that point. THen I said, is that too high, too low? I just need to gain more experience with all the adjustments
  6. We recently purchased a Whirpool MasterSpa Legacy Envision Hot Tub. We live in the NorthEast (Danbury,CT) This is my first hot tub and I am beginning to learn the basics. I do have a few questions that maybe some one can answer: 1) Has anyone had experience with the Legacy Envision HotTub? 2) What is the most important thing regarding chemical balancing? Ph, Shock, Free choline, etc 3) What are the basic differences between Standard Mode - Keeps the temp set Economy Mode - ? Sleep Mode - Maintains delta +/- 20 degrees? 4) What is the ideal temperature 5) Any idea of electrical cost per month 6) Any value in adding one of those floating bromide containers/tabs Any suggestions on the way to keep the tub operating at is best and other tips would be greatly appreciated
  7. I am a first time buyer of a portable SPA. I've been in/out of so many dealers and websites and have conflicting information. I am interested in the Costco KeysBackyard Discovery Oasis Spa that is on sale for $2,999. I've looked at comparing features with other brands and it appears that this model has (2) pumps, right about of jets, 6 person, with lounge and all the other key items EXCEPT for insulation. I've read a article that this spa has about a R-Factor of 9.5 I was looking at MasterSpa which had a R-factor of 42. I live in the NorthEast (CT) so the cost factor during the winter is a concern. Can additional insulation be added to a spa to increase the R-factor? Most Spas with similar features to this Discovery Oasis sell for $4,500-6,000. Does anyone have any comments on this KeyBackyard spa? Is it a deal? Should I look at more expensive models? I've been told that after looking at the key features, when it comes down to insulation, the monthly cost of an properly insulated spa will cover the additional costs after a few years vs buying a bargain spa. Any insights would be appreciated.
