  1. Also, of course I have checked all wiring connections to and from the PCB for all components. Nothing has changed since the last time it was working.
  2. Hello all! This is my first post, I apologize in advance for its length... I have a used 1995 Caldera Niagara spa. I've had it hooked up and running fine for almost a year now. Recently I went out to get in and got the wonderful surprise of tepid water! I checked the LCD for error messages, there were none. Everything was normal on it except for the jet "icon" (little picture) was flashing. I've never seen that before, nothing about that I can find on google either. Next check... Opened the cabinet to the PCB. (Caldera board #51287 - 9100CP) Red light was flashing and I heard a clicking noise. I was unable to determine where the clicking was coming from, and didn't bother to see if there was a pattern to the flashing red light. (I wasn't too concerned at this point, I've had to fix "bugs" in the system in the past ) It was at this point that I noticed that my circulation pump (grundfos) had stopped running. So my first thought was the pump burned out causing the heater to overheat and shut down. But as I said, there were no error codes indicating this on the LCD. (error code "OH") So I shut off all power to the PCB at the breaker, waited a little while, then turned it back on. Here's the weird part... Now I have absolutely NO POWER to anything! LCD is blank, no flashing red light on the PCB! In comes the multimeter... I have 240v at the main power connection block, and at the main fuse. I'm also reading 120v L1 and L2 on the "fingers" of the PCB, yet no red light indicating power to the controls! Therefore I'm unable to do anymore voltage testing at the flow-thru heater, flow switch or anywhere else...ARGGGHHH!!! So my question is, has anyone else experience this??? Are there any tests on PCB itself that I can do to determine where the power is being held up? I'm hoping the PCB itself isn't fried. BTW, its a 240v tub with (2) 240v jet pumps and (1) stand alone circulation pump that runs constantly. I'm pretty sure the circ. pump is 120v. The wiring for it from its harness to the PCB is as follows: The load (black wire) hooks up to the per. light/optional circ. pump spade on the PCB. The neutral (white wire) hooks into the 1-into-2 splitter coming directly from main power block neutral line. Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated! I miss my spa!!!
